Hi, I’m Benitho Louissaint, MSN

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Board Certified (PMHNP-BC)

Family Nurse Practitioner – Certified (FNP-C)

“One small crack does not mean that you are broken, it means that you were put to the test and you didn’t fall apart.” Linda Poindexter

I became passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health and addiction recovery through my work at Community Bridges, Inc., where I served as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Substance Use Disorders. Witnessing the resilience of individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges inspired me to create a space where compassionate, evidence-based care is the priority.

In 2020, I founded Samaria Behavioral Health Center, a judgment-free space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. I bring seven years of experience as a Psychiatric Addiction Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, working with individuals facing substance use disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, and ADHD.

I understand that healing isn’t linear, and I tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs, whether that means medication management, therapy, or a combination of approaches. My practice offers both in-person sessions—where you can settle into the world’s softest sofa—and virtual visits for convenience.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward stability and wellness, I’m here to support you with understanding, expertise, and an unwavering commitment to your recovery.

Vision Statement

The goal of Samaria Behavioral Health Center (SBHC) is to improve mental health access in our community and help individuals who struggle with psychiatric disorders and substance use disorders.

Our Core values

Kindness

At SBHC, we treat our clients the same way we would treat our own family. We will make sure to do everything in our power to treat our patients so that they can reach their full potential.

Empowerment

The client is an integral part of the decision-making process, and therefore should feel safe and comfortable to explain their own views on their treatment plan. Every patient has their own unique path to recovery and at SBHC, we provide an environment that promotes a patient’s self-confidence throughout recovery.

Respect

At SBHC, we understand how difficult it may be to open up about psychiatric disorders and substance abuse problems, therefore we want to emphasize that we are a judgement free zone. No matter what your past entails, we promise to treat you with the utmost respect and sincerity to foster a healing environment for growth for our patients.

Inclusion

At SBHC we value diversity and will always provide a safe and compassionate environment for everyone, regardless of your race, gender, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs.
